📖Definition: A company’s free cash flow per share divided by its share price—an income-like return showing how much cash the business generates relative to what you pay for a share
📊Why it matters: Unlike earnings, free cash flow is hard to “dress up” and reflects real cash available for debt paydown, dividends, and buybacks; higher FCF yield can indicate better value
💡Example: If a company produces $500M FCF and has 100M shares, FCF/share = $5. At a $80 share price, FCF yield = $5 ÷ $80 = 6.25%
